Pyroltech Platform oil
Fuel oil, the liquid product of Pyroltech platform, can be used for applications such as combustion in boilers, fueling in engines and turbines, upgrading to transportation fuels, and as a renewable feedstock for chemicals and materials.
Fuel oils produced from different feedstocks have different physical and chemical properties such as viscosity, density, flash point, pour point, and calorific value. Therefore, feedstock material is the main factor to indicate the properties of the Fuel oil.
The Fuel oil obtained from tires is a dark brown/black colored, medium viscosity oil with a pungent smell and high concentrations of sulfur and nitrogen substances. The tire Fuel oil has a high calorific value of around 41-44 MJ/kg. However, desulphurization is required remove sulfur compounds.
Plastics Fuel oil is considered to be more environmentally friendly due to the lower sulfur content. Fuel of plastic waste can produce liquid oil that has a slightly lower calorific value, viscosity, and flash point but a higher cetane index than conventional diesel fuel.
Applications and benefits:
Fuel oil after refining can be used in many different ways. Such as trucks, tractors, ships, diesel
power generation.
Fuel oil may also be used for heating and electricity generation.
Biodiesel is a non-toxic renewable energy source that is gaining attention globally due to its
direct applicability in preexisting engines without any modification, since its properties are
similar to those of conventional diesel fuel.
Biodiesel is a renewable biofuel free of Sulphur and polycyclic aromatic compounds, which are
significant advantages.
It is the best substitution for petroleum waste.
